Easy Steps to Have Lint-Free Clothing

Bro, there are cheaper clothes at the station!

Well, that’s the start of getting a wardrobe with clothes that look like this.

The tiny balls of fabric you see are called Lint Balls or pills.

How are lint balls caused?

If there’s one similarity between bad people and dodgy clothing is that their ugly side is visible after you hang out with them a couple of times. Let me elaborate- Cotton fabric that has not been specially treated (bio-washed) is prone to lint formation. Once you throw an untreated fabric in the wash, the tiny pieces of loose fabric start to tangle with one another eventually causing them to form knots - which is what you call a lint ball.

So how do you avoid them and have lint-free clothes?

For a start- you could use a lint roller to have lint-free clothes!

But, do you remember that specially treated word I used earlier? Well, that specially treated bit is one of the best ways to avoid them (psst – all our clothes are made with that special sauce).

Bio-washed cotton is a type of cotton that undergoes a special treatment that removes the fuzz and impurities from the fabric. This makes it softer, smoother, and more resistant to pilling. It also gives it a nice lustre and a natural feel. Bio-washed cotton is great for sensitive skin, as it reduces the chances of allergic reactions and irritation.

So how do you get your hands on some bio-washed lint-free cotton clothes? Well, you have landed at the right place. All our clothes at The Vault are bio-washed. So, if you like to live recklessly, these clothes can take care of themselves for the most part (just don’t spill schezwan sauce on it. Nothing defeats schezwan sauce)

But remember, even bio-washed cotton needs some care and attention to keep it in good shape. Here are some tips to follow:

- Wash your cotton clothes in cold water and use a gentle cycle.

- Avoid using bleach or fabric softeners, as they can damage the fibres and cause more lint.

- Iron your cotton clothes on low or medium heat and use a steam iron if possible. This can help smooth out any creases and prevent lint from forming.

That's it! Follow these simple steps and you'll be able to enjoy your bio-washed cotton clothes for a long time. They'll look good, feel good, and make you happy. And who doesn't want that?

Stay Dripped!
